Evan joined LDG full time in 2021 as a Gaffer. He was part of LDG’s team supporting the 2020 Election Cycle coverage, coverage of the MLB National League Championship Series, NBA All Stars, and NCAA Men’s Final Four games as well as studio installations across the US. Originally from Vermont and after years based in Chicago, Evan has a wide range of experience working with installed systems and live events. He holds several industry manufacturer & safety certifications.

Daniel DeFranco started as a Production Assistant at LDG in July of 2021. Currently, he serves as the Scheduling Coordinator for LDG, managing the staffing & crewing of all projects. Daniel is a recent graduate of Muhlenberg College, where he received degrees in both Theatre: Stage Management, and Business Administration.

With a diverse background in theatre and entertainment, Scott has worn many hats including director, designer, technician, consultant, and project manager. He has experience both in the professional and educational realms and brings a unique vision to his work in both lighting and sound. He joins LDG from Barbizon Electric where for the past 5 years he worked as project manager, and field project coordinator with clients that ranged from Broadway theatres, top name brands and offices buildings to School’s and universities.

Before joining as a staff designer, Dale Knoth had already worked on many LDG studio designs at Fox News and Fox Business Network. In addition to Fox News, he worked as an Associate Designer for Paul Palazzo Design, Inc. Dale was also a staff designer for FLDA where he was Sr. Lighting Director at CNBC and designed for ESPN, Disney+, ABC, NBC, and BNC. Outside the realm of TV lighting, he’s designed diverse projects in theater, live events, architecture and television. His credits range from the photographic series Home by Justin Booth-Clibborn (National Portrait Gallery, London) to design work on several Broadway shows including Nine (2003 revivial) and Baz Luhrmann’s La Boheme. Dale now resides in Jackson Heights with wife Saisha after growing up in upstate New York. MFA: NYU

Joining LDG in 2019, Robin Wallace is an Assistant Lighting Director currently assigned to CNN. Originally from the Chicago area, she enjoys reading and various artistic endeavors in her time not spent at work or in the theater. BFA: The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University

A recent graduate of SUNY Purchase with a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology, Declan Moore is an Assistant Lighting Director currently assigned to CNN’s NYC studios. A native of Westchester County, New York, when not busy, he’s likely to be found hiking, biking, or spending time with family & friends.

Jon Goss is the Director of Equipment Operations who started working for LDG in 2013. Jon’s focus is on new studio installations and special events and is currently gearing up for a busy 2020 election season. He was a part of LDG’s install at China Central Television, SNY’s Studios at 4 World Trade Center, and CNN’s move to Hudson Yards in NYC. The Baltimore native previously worked for Glimmerglass Opera, Florida Grand Opera, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Jon received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College.


Dante Olivia Smith is a Lighting Director currently assigned to NYC’s CNN studios. Dante comes to LDG from the world of theatrical lighting and scenic design where she worked with Hartford Stage, Signature Theatre, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, and DC’s Studio Theatre among others. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she’s considered NYC home for a good many years now and can be found antiquing or baking when not on the job. MFA: NYU Tisch

Sheryl Wisniewski is our DC-based Director of Production.  Sheryl joined a growing LDG in 2002 as the Asst. Lighting Designer and Production Coordinator.  Eight Emmy Awards later, she is proud of her work on projects including the annual CNN Heroes Tribute, coverage of two Royal Weddings, four presidential elections, and nine Olympics.  Sheryl holds a BFA in Theatrical Design and Technology from Otterbein College and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland.  During her off-hours, she spends her time cheering on the soccer sidelines, pretending to enjoy video games, and learning to raise compassionate little humans.



Nancy Lazaroff joined LDG in 2018 as its Receptionist.  She received her BS from Queens College.  After working at several different jobs and raising her family she became a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at a nursing home for 20 years.  She and her partner have recently moved into Manhattan and are like kids in a candy store, thoroughly enjoying what the city has to offer.
